This is a downloadable version of a little book (50 pages), written in German, in Fraktur in fact, which I picked up at an antique store somewhere. I don't read German. However, someone I know who does read German, wanted to read it. So, I scanned it.
It was printed in 1873. "Saat und Ernte" means "Sowing and Harvest," which is a reference to Genesis 8:22. The cover says "Eine interessante Erzählung für Sonntagschulen," which means "An interesting story for Sunday schools." It is the tale of a poor boy growing up with his godly grandmother in a village in the Black Forest, and the blessings that come to them as a result of their faithfulness.
